Airlock teamed up with local FGC organizer Get Good FGC to upgrade their usual local event experience to a memorable moment hosted at The Spacestation. Local esports communities are just as important to us as any big-ticket client because we know, as well as anyone, that esports came from grassroots communities like this. With this in mind, we saw an important opportunity to create a special experience that celebrated the FGC and reinforced Spacestation’s commitment to local esports.
The Spacestation HQ was decorated to be the ultimate venue with a fighting ring stage, multi-camera broadcast, custom graphics, and a unique 1-of-1 fight stick controller for the winner. Airlock took the opportunity to make Utah’s FGC community feel as if their monthly local had been upgraded to a major event. We’re glad to be supporting gamers in our state and helping elevate the esports scene at all levels.
