Macdown 3 was our biggest and best Macdown yet! We invited 60 pros, content creators, and women competitors to throw down in Apex Legend's most innovative event. There was $20,000 on the line thanks to Predator Gaming and a Kill Leader Bounty brought to players by Oats Overnight. All of the Apex community game together to watch unique teams throw down in our unique format. It didn't end there, though! With creative touches like a custom sponsored song and little greenscreen Macro memes popping up during bits, Macdown 3 set the bar for creative event shows.

The Macdown event series was dreamed up as a collaboration between Airlock and Macro to bring fans a new kind of competitive event. We’ve teamed up for 3 Macdowns, with the third happening in May 2024. The goal was simple: elevate Apex Legends esports through unique twists and put on an entertaining show by and for the community. The Macdown's unique formula was made up of an engaging legend ban system, custom-made skits, twitch chat votes to affect the tournament, legend cosplays, his unique art style, and more.
